WORLD BANK states that;
REMOVE the President of the Republic from the IDC Board. This step would mitigate potential conflicts of interest and political interference, allowing the board to operate with a singular focus on strateglc decision making and prudent investment practices.
By depoliticizing the board, the IDC can better align its activities with economic objectives, promote transparency, and enhance investor confidence.
Furthermore, this move would underscore the commitment to professional
governance and strengthen the institution’s credibility both domestically and internationally.
