GOVERNMENT COMMENDED FOR INTRODUCING CASH FOR WORK PROGRAMME
A resident of Chief Moonze’s area in Monze District of Southern Province, Milton Monze has commended government for introducing the cash for work programme to cushion hunger being experienced in some parts of the country.
Mr Moonze says it is gratifying to see how government is introducing different programmes to ensure that everyone has food to eat, adding that this should be commended by every well meaning Zambian.
He calls on those given the responsibility to come up with lists of people to work for the money, not to segregate but ensure all those not on the Social Cash transfer or Emergency Social Cash Transfer are captured in the Cash for Work programme.
He says what happened when writing lists for the Emergency Social Cash Transfer where eligible people were left out should not be allowed to happen again.
