Tonse Pamodzi Alliance will proceed with its campaign activities in Southern Province

Tonse Pamodzi Alliance Presidential Spokesperson George Chisanga says the Tonse Pamodzi Alliance will proceed with its campaign activities in Southern Province in line with the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) campaign schedule.
Speaking to Hot FM News, Mr. Chisanga said the alliance has taken into account the incidents that occurred in Western Province and the conduct of the police during campaigns in the area.
He said an urgent consultative meeting of senior alliance members has been convened in Lusaka to deliberate on the matter and decide on the way forward.
Mr. Chisanga said violence and political thuggery should not be tolerated in a democratic country and has expressed concern over the conduct of the police during the campaign period.
