UGANDA IS SENDING TROOPS TO GAZA. IDI AMIN IS ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE

The Ugandan Parliament has approved the deployment of UPDF troops to Gaza as part of a 20,000-strong International Stabilisation Force led by an American general

The mission is simple. Monitor ceasefire. Protect civilians. Train Palestinian police. Disarm Hamas.

Oh. Just that. Simple. No problem.

Meanwhile, Israel has reportedly said it will allow troops from friendly countries to enter Gaza. Guess who is on that list? Uganda.

The army chief, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has been very clear about Uganda’s position. We stand with Israel because we are Christians, he posted on X. He also said Uganda is ready to send substantial troops to defend Israel if called upon.

He also unveiled a statue of Yoni Netanyahu, the Israeli commander killed during the 1976 Entebbe raid. The same raid that violated Uganda’s sovereignty and killed Ugandan soldiers.

But let us celebrate the guy who came to kill our people. Makes perfect sense.

Now Uganda is a member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. But the army chief has already declared Uganda stands with Israel because of Jesus.

The Palestinians are Muslim. Many Ugandans are Muslim. But Jesus said it. What can they do?

The deployment is backed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803. But the force was requested by Trump. The goal is to secure Gaza after Israel’s war.

Uganda has peacekeeping experience in Somalia, South Sudan, and DRC. But Gaza is different. It is a live war zone with ballistic missiles, air defences, and urban warfare.

Opposition MPs said this could put Uganda in direct conflict with its OIC allies. Others questioned whether the troops would be paid and protected.

The government said Uganda is a professional force that can handle it. After all, America is on your friends list. That is sorted.

Common sense says this is about securing the bag from Trump. But the risks are enormous.

Diplomatic peace talk? No. Let us fuel the conflict instead. Uganda is going to the Middle East. For Trump. And for Jesus.

Soon he will regret it for the rest of his life.

What happened to Uganda’s neutrality? Is this about peace or about pleasing the West?
