HH PROMISES LOW COST OF LIVING, NEW ROADS, JOBS IF RE-ELECTED

President Hakainde Hichilema has promised to invest in road infrastructure, job creation and reducing the cost of living if re-elected in the August general election.

Addressing a campaign rally in Mungwi District of Northern Province, President Hichilema said his administration would deliver more development projects if given a second mandate.

He said road construction and other infrastructure projects would remain a priority, while creating employment opportunities for citizens would continue to be a key focus.

The President also said the government is working to employ volunteer health workers through the ongoing recruitment exercise as part of efforts to strengthen the health sector.

He urged the people of Mungwi to support the UPND in the August elections, saying a renewed mandate would enable his government to continue implementing its development agenda.
