M’MEMBE CALLS FOR UNITY AGAINST UPND
Socialist Party (SP) President Dr Fred M’membe has called for unity among political and civic organisations to defeat the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) next year.
He said the unity of diverse organisations and the people is essential for overcoming the challenges facing Zambia and achieving victory in the struggle against UPND rule.
Dr M’membe emphasised the importance of addressing anything that impairs unity and urged Zambians to unite and work hard to rise as a powerful force that cannot be stopped.
He said courage and determination are necessary to confront difficulties and achieve progress.
The SP President stated that while UPND may appear strong, it is nearing extinction, and the forces of progress are approaching victory.
He said the strength of the people should not be underestimated and urged Zambians to prepare for all challenges while striving for unity and perseverance in their struggles.
He stated that victory in next year’s elections will depend on the people’s efforts rather than relying on the regime’s sensibleness.
Dr M’membe said being prepared is key to addressing Zambia’s complicated situations effectively.
