RAE HAMONGA HAS REPORTED THAT, PRESIDENT LUNGU CAUSED SIGNIFICANT DISRUPTION TO TRAFFIC ON CAIRO ROAD
===================
In fear of what might hit the UPND as the result of President Lungu’s innocent walk in town Rae Hamonga has issued a statement to threaten the former head of State.

According to Rae, President Lungu has no right of freedom to movement and he has been warned of arrest if he continues walking around.

In a statement, police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the police have observed a concerning incident involving Mr Lungu, who allegedly led a group of individuals from Town Centre around 11:30 hours onto Cairo Road, causing significant disruptions to traffic.

Mr Hamoonga said such actions constitute an unlawful assembly, and regardless of one’s former status as a Head of State, adherence to the law is non-negotiable.

He cautioned the former President that no one is above the law, and the police will not hesitate to enforce it.

“Engaging in activities that disrupt public order and safety will not be tolerated, and those who act with impunity will face legal consequences,” he said.

Mr Hamoonga further urged Mr Lungu to conduct himself within the confines of the law and to refrain from actions that disrupt public peace and order.

He said failure to comply with the law will result in what he termed as ‘the necessary’ legal actions being taken.
