PRESIDENT HICHILEMA CONFIRMS NALUMANGO SAFE AFTER HELICOPTER INCIDENT
President Hakainde Hichilema has confirmed that Vice President and UPND running mate W.K. Mutale Nalumango is safe and unharmed following a helicopter incident.
In a statement, President Hichilema said he had spoken with Mrs. Nalumango after the incident and was pleased to report that she was in good spirits and had not sustained any injuries.
He said the development was reassuring and expressed gratitude for her safety.
The President thanked God for protecting the Vice President and preserving her life, describing the outcome as a blessing.
He said the nation had every reason to be thankful that she had emerged from the incident unharmed.
