PRESIDENT HH TO COMMISSION CHINGOLA-CHILILABOMBWE ROAD AND CHILILABOMBWE DISTRICT HOSPITAL

President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to soon commission the Chingola-Chililabombwe-Kasumbalesa road, along with the Chililabombwe District Hospital. This exciting development was revealed by Mines Minister Paul Kabuswe, who is also the Member of Parliament for Chililabombwe, during the handover ceremony of a new 12-unit mortuary refrigerator at Kakoso Level One hospital in Chililabombwe.

Minister Kabuswe expressed his enthusiasm about the commissioning of the road, stating that it is part of the many positive developments taking place in the Copperbelt region, including the Mopani Copper Mines partnership. He further highlighted that these initiatives demonstrate government’s commitment to growing the economy and moving the country in the right direction.

Chililabombwe District Commissioner, Precious Njekwa, commended President Hichilema for the transformative impact he has brought to the country through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). She acknowledged the positive changes in the district and expressed her appreciation for government’s focus on improving infrastructure and services.

Prince Kaputula, the Chililabombwe District Health Director, also shared his views on the positive developments in the district. He mentioned that numerous health facilities have been rehabilitated and newly constructed, thanks to the increased CDF allocation.

With the upcoming commissioning of the Chingola-Chililabombwe-Kasumbalesa road and the Chililabombwe District Hospital, government’s commitment to infrastructure development and healthcare in the Copperbelt region is evident. These projects aim to improve connectivity and provide better healthcare services for the people of Chililabombwe.
