Dear Colleagues,

I have the honour to transmit the special greetings of the Pan-African
Parliament, and my Office, to yours.

On behalf of Hon. Lucia Dos Passos, Acting President of the Pan-African
Parliament, this letter serves to inform you that, in line with the deliberations of the 44th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union meetings in Addis Ababa from 14th to 18th February 2024, and official correspondence received by the Acting President from the AUC Chairperson on the same issue, the date of elections of vacant positions of the Bureau and other procedural matters will be set and communicated to the PAP by the African Union Commission, after
consultation with the PAP leadership and Secretariat.

Consequently, the elective session scheduled for 28 February 2024 in Addis Ababa will no longer hold as communicated in previous correspondence sent to National Parliaments.
