MATTHEW MOHAN REFUSES TO BE SILENCED, CALLS OUT M’TOLO’S THREATS.

…stop visiting hotels to meet Congolese businessmen you sell maize too dressed in pyjamas.”

Local businessman and youth advocate Matthew Mohan has publicly responded to threats made by the current Agriculture Minister and Member of Parliament for Chipata Central, Hon. Mutolo Phiri.

According to Mohan, Minister Phiri has been displeased with Mohan’s attendance at a recent youth summit in Chipata and has gone as far as threatening to attack Mohan’s businesses.

In a scathing message directed at the minister, Mohan has made it clear that he will not be silenced.

“This is my message to you; I will continue sharing my story and message to the next generation and you will not stop me,” Mohan proclaimed.

The advocate’s message paints a picture of a politician more concerned with political power plays than addressing the real needs of the people of Chipata. Mohan has called on Minister Phiri to focus on resolving the critical maize issues and supporting President Hakainde Hichilema’s transformative agenda, rather than “visiting hotels to meet Congolese businessmen in pyjamas.”

Mohan has also implored President Hichilema to keep a watchful eye on individuals who may be working to undermine his genuine efforts to propel Zambia towards a middle-income status. “Together we can make Zambia a better place,” Mohan stated, emphasizing the need for unity and collective action.

The advocate’s unwavering stance and willingness to speak out publicly against a powerful political figure underscores the courage and determination of Zambia’s youth to challenge the status quo and advocate for meaningful development.
