MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY KÏLLING WIFE OVER SUPPER IN LAVUSHIMANDA
Police in Lavushimanda have detained, a 28-year-old man, following the alleged murder of his wife, Prudence Mupanga 24, on Monday in Muwele village in the chiefdom Chiundaponde’s area.
According to police, the couple had a dispute over the evening meal prepared by Prudence, which was inadvertently consumed by a dog.
The argument escalated, leading to the husband allegedly assaulting his wife with a fatal kick to the stomach.
Police officers arrived at the scene to find no visible injuries on the body of the deceased.
Commissioner of Police Paul Achiumehas confirmed the News to Chete FM.

Police in Nakonde have detained a woman for allegedly assaulting her five-year-old daughter.
The assault, which reportedly involved a metal bar and slaps, led to the child sustaining injuries, including bleeding from the nose and general body pains.
The incident happened on Tuesday and was reported to the Nakonde Police by a neighbor who intervened to rescue the child.
According to the police, the suspect, Joyce Mubanga, became enraged after discovering that her daughter had consumed all the relish from the pot while she was away purchasing mealie meal.
