FAZ TO ENSURE FIFA DOES NOT BAN ZAMBIA – KAMANGA
The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- says it is working to ensure that Zambia survives a possible ban from the World Football Governing Body -FIFA-.
FAZ President, ANDREW KAMANGA however says FIFA has given the Association until tomorrow April 30th to furnish the Global sports body with all the information about the football situation in Zambia before a decision is made.
KAMANGA said this in his weekly publication dubbed the President’s Corner.
He said FAZ is hopeful that a long lasting solution will be found before FIFA intervenes adding talks are ongoing with critical stakeholders to ensure that they quickly resolve the issues.
KAMANGA said ensuring that Copper Queens do not miss their place at the Olympic Games is the ultimate task.
He further said the Association will do its best to preserve the integrity of the game by abiding to both the laws of the land and FIFA statutes.
KAMANGA has urged football fans to remain calm as the country navigates through the current crisis.
