LATE GEN SHIKAPWASHA HAD FIVE CHILDREN OUTSIDE WEDLOCK, COURT HEARS
LATE Reverend Lieutenant General Ronald Shikapwasha had fathered more than five children outside wedlock in his 46-year-long marriage to murder accused, Jane Lusengo, the Lusaka High Court heard yesterday.
This is in a matter Lusengo, 73, is accused of killing her husband, former Zambia Air Force (ZAF) commander and cabinet minister, Lt Gen (Rtd), Shikapwasha on January 14, 2024.
She is alleged to have shot him in the abdomen using his double barrel shotgun at their Ibex Hill home.
His daughter, Vanessa Shikapwasha, had earlier testified that Lusengo had confessed to killing her father.
The witness also revealed that Shikapwasha while in agonising pain told the wife that her infidelity had led to his death.
