Court of Appeal Judge resigns!
JUSTICE Catherine Kunda Makungu has resigned from her position as Judge of the Court of Appeal.
And President Hakainde Hichilema has accepted the resignation of Justice Makungu.
According to State House Chief Communications Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka, Justice Makungu tendered her resignation in writing to President Hichilema on October 1, 2026.
He says her resignation was made in accordance with Article 142(5) of the Constitution of Zambia.
President Hichilema has thanked Justice Makungu for her service to the Judiciary and the nation and wished her well in her future endeavours.
