BRUCE MWAPE GRACEFULLY ACCEPTS FAZ DECISION AS NEW ERA BEGINS FOR SHEPOLOPOLO
Veteran coach Bruce Mwape has acknowledged and respected the decision by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to replace him as the Zambia Senior Women’s National Football Team coach with Swiss national Nora Hauptle.
In an interview, Mwape expressed acceptance of the transition while reflecting on his remarkable achievements, which include leading Zambia to the 2024 Paris Olympics, qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup, and guiding the team to their historic debut at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
While FAZ announced that Mwape may take on a new role, the seasoned coach awaits official communication. Despite the change, Mwape’s legacy as one of Zambia’s most successful women’s football coaches remains undeniable.
