…They Are Stealing Public Funds Causing Needless Deaths – Dr Kalyalya.
Central Bank Governor Dr Denny Kalyalya is not pleased with the reported thefts and corruption in government ministries.
Dr. Kalyalya who was speaking in his eulogy of his wife Ada Mwale-Kalyalya said theft of public funds especially at Ministry of Health is causing needless deaths of many patients.
Unlike of the Bank of Zambia Governor talking of corruption but monitory issues of supply, interest rates and inflation spoke about the “elephant in the room” the reports of corruption and tender flouting that have dominated the media recently.
The opposition has applauded Dr Kalyalya for bringing out this information yesterday during the funeral church service of his wife.
There are reports of corruption and tender flouting at Ministries of Health, Local Government and Education.
