Bafana Bafana legend Benni McCarthy set to leave Manchester United

Bafana Bafana legend Benni McCarthy is reportedly set to leave Manchester United two years after joining the club as part of under fire Red Devil’s head coach Erik Ten Hag’s coaching staff.

McCarthy’s contract with United is set to expire this coming summer and the club is yet to approach him for renewal.

The South African gaffer is responsible for training United’s forwards.

In the previous season, he was praised for helping England international star Marcus Rashford to score 30 goals.

According to ESPN, United declined to comment on the issue but McCarthy’s future is uncertain at Old Trafford.

News that the Red Devils following the arrival of new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe are yet to approach the former Orlando Pirates striker for a new deal means he could be on his way out at the end of the 2023/24 EPL season.
