MUNDUBILE, MAKEBI FACE POLICE QUESTIONING OVER ALLEGED SECURITY THREATS
2026 NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu have been handed over to police for questioning.
Police spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi confirmed the development, saying the two opposition leaders are being interviewed by law enforcement officers in the presence of their lawyers.
Mr. Chilabi said police will issue an official statement after the interviews are concluded.
The questioning follows summons issued to Mr. Mundubile and Mr. Zulu in connection with investigations into alleged activities that police say have the potential to threaten national security.
