…..ABOUT THE ASSASSINATION OF EX REPUBLICAN VICE PRESIDENT OF MALAWI, HIS HONOR MR SAULOS KLAUS CHILIMA……..

During a parliamentary hearing investigating his conduct and criminality in supplying weapons and ammunition to the Rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan who are fighting against the Military government of the Country when he served as Commander of the Malawi Defence Forces between June 2023 to October 2025 , General Paul Valentino Phiri , 54, “let the cat out of the bag” over the “mysterious death” of Late former Vice President of Malawi, His Honor Mr Saulos Klaus Chilima, and 8 others in a plane crash on the 10th June 2024 in Chikangawa in the Northern Region of the country.
Phiri was a business partner of the late Zimbabwean multimillionaire businessman, Wicknell Chivayo (22/11/1983 – 30/09/2026) with whom he worked with to channel arms and munitions to the RSF rebels in Sudan. Chivayo himself was murdered via a helicopter crash alongside his wife and 3 others on Wednesday 30th September 2026 in which the heads of all 5 victims were cut off from their bodies and are “still missing”. As lawmakers grilled General Paul Valentino Phiri over his crimes , he “awoke sleeping dogs” by asking the lawmakers to summon Current Inspector General Of The Malawian Police Service , Richard Luhanga , to answer over the “mysterious deaths” of Mr Saulos Chilima and 8 others in a plane crash that took place in the Chikangawa area located in Nkhata Bay Province in the Northern Region of the country on the 10th June 2026. At the time of the crash , Luhanga was the Provincial Commissioner of police of Nkhata Bay and oversaw “the immediate initial investigations” into the plane crash .
Upto now, 90% of Malawians STILL doubt (AND RIGHTFULLY SO) the circumstances that led to the plane crash in which the charismatic late Vice President Of Malawi lost his life alongside 8 others. The “mysterious death” of Mr Saulos Chilima is STILL a major topic on social media platforms in Malawi today . When the President Of Malawi, Pater Mutharika , won a second term in office , he directed law enforcement agencies to reopen investigations into the crash due to doubts over the initial investigations in which Richard Luhanga was involved. So why did General Paul Valentino Phiri resurrect the case of the demise of Mr Saulos Chilima and 8 others when he was being interrogated over his own case of transnational crimes ? Why did he ask for Richard Luhanga to be summoned to answer for the demise of Mr Saulos Chilima and what does Luhanga know about the demise of Mr Saulos Chilima that the rest if the country doesn’t know ?
Now this is VEEEEEERRRRYY VERY INTERESTING. Mr Saulos Chilima was very popular with ordinary Malawians due to his public appeal and Hollywood-style celebrity looks and he was widely expected to succeed Lazarus Chakwera as President of the country.
Chakwera had lost the popularity he himself had when he initially rose to power due to nepotism and regionalism in appointments to senior cabinet ministerial roles and the civil service and many Malawians turned to Saulos Chilima for inspiration to lead the country.
This is what made Chakwera become Jealous and envious of the popularity that Saulos Chilima was developing with ordinary Malawians. Whilst Chakwera was being booed and jeered whenever he made public appearances, his Vice President Saulos Chilima was widely cheered and celebrated……
