Zambia’s Immigration Department Hold Key Official in Charge of Electoral Petition Against President Hakainde Hichilema
Department of Immigration Detain Mukandila
The Department of Immigration has apprehended Tonse alliance Secretary General CELESTIN MUKANDILA at his residence in Mapepe, Chilanga District.
Mukandila is at the centre of coordination of an election petition against President Hakainde Hichilema.
Department of Immigration Chief Public Relations Officer NAMATI NSHINKA says the Department is investigating a report relating to Mr. MUKANDILA’s immigration status.
Mr. NSHINKA says Mr. MUKANDILA, is currently in the custody of the Department of Immigration as investigations into the matter continue.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Mr. NSHINKA.
