25 YEARS IN PARLIAMENT

Jack Mwiimbu

He was born on July 23, 1959, in Monze, Southern Province.  He attended Ahmadiyya Primary School and Monze Secondary School, then studied law at the University of Zambia, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. He also obtained a Legal Practitioners’ Qualifying Examination (LPQE) certificate.

Mwiimbu became a lawyer and later joined the United Party for National Development (UPND). In September 2021, President Hakainde Hichilema appointed him Minister of Home Affairs.

Mwiimbu is the member of the United Party for National Development (UPND) and has been elected as the Member of Parliament for Monze Constituency since 2001. Some of his voters were not yet born when he first became an MP.

Should Mwiimbu go for another term as MP to make it 30 years in Parliament?
