WOMAN ABANDONS BABY AT CHELSTON CLINIC GATE
A Security Officer at Chelston Clinic has picked up a newly born baby wrapped in rags and a torn dress near the facility’s main entrance.
Nicholas Chiyokoma is said to have found the baby on 3rd January, 2024 around 01:40 hours.
Police Spokesperson, Rae Hamoonga, says the male baby weighing 2.9 Kilograms appears to be in good health with no abnormalities.
Hamoonga states that signs indicate that the infant was well cared for and was delivered by a skilled professional.
The baby is still under health care and a manhunt for the mother has been launched.
