Under the PR SYSTEM as provided by the Electoral Process (Amendment) Act No. 12  of 2026.



WOMEN IN PARLIAMENT

Quota = 5,012,600 ÷ 20 = 250,630 votes per seat.

The initial allocation is 19 seats. The one remaining seat goes to NRPUP, which has the largest remainder.



UPND:  – 12
NRPUP – 8
OTHERS – 0

YOUTH

Quota = 5,012,600 ÷ 15 = 334,173.33 votes per seat

The initial allocation produces 14 seats, with one seat remaining for the largest remainder.

All other parties – 0



PWD:

Quota = 5,012,600 ÷ 5 = 1,002,520 votes per seat

The initial allocation produces four seats, with one remaining seat going to the largest remainder.
