Tonse Alliance Kabwata constituency parliamentary candidate Danny Yenga has successfully filed in his nominations to contest the August 13 General Elections.
Addressing journalists and supporters, Mr. Yenga said the people of Kabwata have suffered long enough without receiving any tangible development since the UPND took over.
Mr. Yenga said once elected as member of parliament the constituency will have a fair share of development adding that marketeers and youths will be empowered.
“Kabwata has not developed since UPND took over. There is hunger in households, houses are always flooded, once elected everything shall be new. We are starting on a new note,” he said.
“We will not sideline anyone, everyone will be involved, and No Constituency Development Fund CDF will end up in someone pocket, the money was not put to good use to end flooding in Kabwata during rainy season, CDF will be a game changer for every individual. Our marketeers will be fully empowered. All the youths will come on board,” Mr. Yenga said.
And Mr. Yenga said Zambians are expectant that Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu will deliver adding that there will be a new change in the country.
“It is a sorry sight that late former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has not been buried, we shall bury him after August elections,” Mr. Yenga said.
