STRAIT OF HORMUZ SHOWDOWN: U.S. WAR HELICOPTERS FORCE DOZENS OF SHIPS TO TURN BACK AS IRAN BLOCKADE TENSIONS EXPLODE

The Middle East edged closer to a major maritime confrontation last night after U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) revealed that American military forces are actively enforcing a naval blockade linked to Iran near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

In dramatic images released by the U.S. military, an American Army helicopter was seen tracking commercial vessels across the tense regional waters as Washington tightened its grip on one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes.

According to CENTCOM, a total of 78 commercial ships have already been redirected since May 16, while four vessels were reportedly disabled after failing to comply with enforcement measures.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a global economic lifeline, carrying a huge share of the world’s oil and gas exports. Any escalation in the area could send shockwaves through international markets and trigger fears of a wider regional conflict involving Iran and U.S.-allied forces.
