SHAMBOLIC TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS BY MPONDELA AND HIS EXECUTIVE
Zambia Athletics led by Elias Mpondela knew about this trip to Bahamas immediately the Zambia Women and men’s 4X400 Relay Teams won Silver and Gold respectively at the 2023 African Games held this year in Ghana.
With only 3 days to the Bahamas Relay World Championship which will held from 4 to 5 May 2024, in Nassau, Bahamas, only four Athletes and one coach from Team Zambia have arrived in Bahamas with the other six athletes plus two coaches still in Cuba awaiting their next flight to Bahamas.
The eight who are set to spend approximately two days in a shambolic travel arrangement in Cuba are Rhoda Njobvu, David Mulenga, Luchembe Kennedy, Niddy Mingilishi, Sepiso Abygirl, Coach Douglas, Coach Nyendwa and Christabel Kunda.
The Relay World Championship will be used as qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
