SAD FACES: Grief-stricken friends of Kash Money who died in a motorbike accident yesterday pay their last respects at Ideal Funeral Palour in Lusaka this afternoon!Zambia loses Kash Money

ZAMBIA has lost talented creative digital creator and music promoter in the name of Kachingwa Kaoma otherwise known as Kash money who died in a motorbike accident in the early hours of yesterday.

According to a statement by Zambia Police Service Spokes Person, Rae Hamoonga, Kash Money was riding his Yamaha motor bike when he lost control and died on the spot around 01:30 hours.

The accident happened on Mosi Otunya Road near the traffic lights at Tokyo way in Lusaka.

According to Hamoonga, Kash Money sustained head injuries and died on the spot leaving the bike extensively damaged.

“The accident occurred when the said rider failed to negotiate a bend due to excessive speed, hence lost control of his bike and overturned,” he said.

Kash Money worked as part of the management team of Zambian rapper, Chef 187 and also served as part of the IT department at Trade Kings Dairy Gold campany.

According to some of Kash Money’s workmates, he had reported for work on Saturday for their usual meetings.

He grew up on the Copperbelt in Kitwe where he worked for Pick n Pay kitwe before moving to Lusaka, and spent part of his education at Kalulushi Trust school.

The announcement of his death has taken many of his friends and family member grieving on social media as they have described him as a humble, social and kindhearted person.

Despite his residential home being in Lusaka’s Chalala area, Kaoma’s funeral has been moved to Kitwe where his family is based, while mourners in Lusaka have been given the opportunity to bid their last farewell at the Ideal Funeral parlor along Luanshya road.
