POLICY ANALYST WELCOMES MUSOKOTWANE REAPPOINTMENT AS FINANCE MINISTER
Policy Analyst Zondwayo Duma says the reappointment of Situmbeko Musokotwane as Minister of Finance and National Planning provides important continuity.
In a media statement today, Duma said the continuity is vital as Zambia consolidates the gains made in restoring macroeconomic stability.
He noted that addressing the country’s debt challenges remains a critical priority for the ministry.
Duma advanced that the task ahead is to build on this foundation and move decisively from economic stabilisation to economic transformation.
He said that transformation must create jobs and strengthen Zambian enterprises.
Duma affirmed that deepening industrialisation is essential for sustained economic progress.
He emphasised that economic growth must translate into improved livelihoods for ordinary citizens.
