PATSON DAKA CONTINUES TO PROVE HIS IMPORTANCE IN LEICESTER CITY DREAM TO RETURN TO PREMIER LEAGUE.

Despite being overlooked by manager Enzo Maresca for the first 19 games of the season, Daka has seized his opportunity since his full debut in December. He has made a remarkable impact, contributing directly to a goal in every single match he has played for Leicester in the Championship, keeping them on top of the table well on their return to the Premier League.

On a rain-soaked Saturday, Daka scored twice for the Foxes, who defeated Stoke City 5-0 to take his league tally to 6 goals and three assists in nine games. He scored the opening goal in the 27th minute. Three minutes later, Kasey McAteer doubled the Foxes’ lead, sending them comfortably into halftime.

Daka further cemented his hero status in the second half, converting a penalty in the 66th minute for his sixth goal in nine games. He also boasts three assists, showcasing his complete attacking talent.

With an eye on a potential loan move to Real Betis reportedly falling through on transfer deadline day, Daka channeled his focus onto the pitch, putting on a commanding performance. He was eventually substituted in the 70th minute, making way for the legendary Jamie Vardy.

Vardy didn’t disappoint, adding two goals of his own, including a penalty in stoppage time, to complete the emphatic victory and maintain Leicester’s position at the top of the Championship table.

Daka’s impressive form has undoubtedly earned him the manager’s trust and the fans’ adoration. He will undoubtedly be looking to keep his place in the starting lineup and continue his goal-scoring spree when Leicester travels to Watford next Saturday.
