Mwala Yuyi daughter arrested for corruption
Mwala Yuyi is the Senior Assistant Commissioner based at Service Headquarters.
He is in trouble and appears to have fallen out with his bosses at State House.
He was recetly accused of engaging in corruption worth K500,000 and prevented an arrest of a suspect. He was also accused of interefering in a case where the ACC were probing a Senior Accountant at the Zambia Police.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested and charged Kasemuka Chiteta, a senior Accountant based at Zambia Police headquarters and a Lusaka-based businessman Chimuka Chibawe for alleged concealment of possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
You may remember that Yuyi led a contigent of police officers to arrest former First Lady, Mama Esther Lungu. He tried to grind down the gate to illegally access the premises.
Now Mwala Yuyi’s daughter has been arrested for corruption
POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED FOR CORRUPTION INVOLVING K50,000.00
The Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested Sergeant Susan Yuyi of the Zambia Police Service and charged her with Abuse of Authority of Office and Corrupt Practices by Public Officer involving K50,000.00.
