MUNDUBILE, MAKEBI AMONG 18 TRANSFERRED TO MUKOBEKO PRISON

National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) 2026 Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, lawyer Makebi Zulu and 16 other accused persons have been transferred to Mukobeko Maximum Prison in Kabwe.
Lawyer Milner Katolo says the 18 were moved on August 30, 2026, from various detention facilities where they had been held following their arrests.
The accused persons are facing treason charges and are yet to appear in court in connection with the matter.
Meanwhile, Mr Katolo says the legal team has been informed that lawyers will only be allowed to meet the accused persons after September 2, 2026.
