MINISTER BLASTS SLEEPY PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS
SOUTHERN Province Minister, Credo Nanjuwa, has taken a swipe at the seemingly timid approach by some Council Public Relations Officers in disseminating information to the community about various happenings in their locations.
Speaking when he featured on Byta FM Radio last Friday, Nanjuwa expressed disappointment that Some Public Relations Officers in the Province are not highlighting development despite various undertakings taking shape.
The Minister called for a more aggressive approach by Local Authorities in engaging their communities and including them in various communal projects.
Recently, Ministry of Information and Media Director, Henry Kapata, cautioned underperforming Council Public Relations Officers to upscale their work effort in community engagement.
