Mikalile Warns of Legal Action Over Government’s Rejection of Delivered Goods

MIKALILE Trading Investment proprietor Stephen Mikalile says government’s approach will trigger legal action from his company.

And Mikalile says government wants to reject goods worth less than two percent of the contract sum, because the majority was delivered.

On Saturday, Ministry of Education PS Noriana Muneku directed all schools to reject goods delivered by Mikalile Trading Company of Hong Kong. But in an interview, Sunday, Mikalile said Muneku’s approach would cost government avoidable sums of money.

“The approach of the PS may trigger legal action from our financing banks which will be unfortunate as there is likely to be huge costs to the government which are avoidable if we can get to the table and engage one another.
