MARCH AND MARCH MOVEMENT FIRES BACK AT RAMAPHOSA AND THE ANC – “STOP ATTACKING US, WE ARE FIGHTING FOR THE PEOPLE”

The March and March Movement has once again found itself at the centre of South Africa’s political debate after its Secretary-General, Sibonelo Nomvalo, called on President Cyril Ramaphosa and ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula to stop what he describes as attacks on the movement.

According to Nomvalo, the movement believes it is fighting for issues affecting ordinary South Africans and should not be dismissed or criticised for raising concerns about unemployment, crime, service delivery and other challenges facing communities.

The remarks come as the movement continues to attract attention through large public demonstrations and marches, with supporters arguing that South Africans are increasingly frustrated with the country’s direction and want stronger action from political leader

However, critics accuse the movement of being divisive and using controversial rhetoric, while supporters insist it is giving a voice to concerns that many citizens feel are being ignored.

The growing war of words between the movement and senior ANC leaders is likely to fuel further political debate ahead of future elections, as different groups compete to convince voters that they have the best solutions for South Africa’s challenges.

Is the March and March Movement raising legitimate concerns that government should listen to, or do you believe its critics are right? 🇿🇦🔥👇
