Loadshedding is looming, hints ex-Minister!
FORMER Minister of energy Yamfwa Mukanga says the country could soon return to prolonged load shedding if urgent measures are not taken to address the energy challenges.
In an interview, with Hot FM, Mukanga said many people have already started experiencing power outages lasting at least two hours a day, a situation he described as evidence that electricity supply remains unstable
He said despite assurances made in recent months, ZESCO has not clearly outlined the measures it has implemented to guarantee a stable power supply.
Mukanga has added that this suggests no serious or tangible interventions have been put in place to enable the country to fully transition from load shedding to an uninterrupted electricity supply, reports HOT FM.
