I apologise profusely for sounding insensitive over Kafwaya’s death – Charity
UPND sympathiser Charity Banda has apologised to the late former minister Mutotwe Kafwaya’s family for having sounded insensitive and doubted his death.
In an audio that has gone viral, Banda has been heard having doubted Kafwaya’s death when NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile disclosed the death to the public
She said there was no truth in what Mundubile was saying as people could easily tell when a human being had died, as opposed to how casually the matter was being handled as if it was a dog that had died.
Banda said even the manner Kafwaya’s wife went about asking about the matter in the media was as if nothing had happened.
However, Banda said she profusely apologised to the family of Kafwaya now that the matter had been confirmed by the government, reports Daily Revelation newspaper.
