Isoka prominent business man “TIME OF JESUS” daughter has died after Consuming Tuberculosis Drug.

Beauty Naluonde aged 18 a grade eleven pupil at Muchinga Secondary school tragically took her own life after consuming a significant quantity of Tuberculosis (TB) medication.

The incident occurred on Tuesday and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Isoka District hospital.

Sunday Siluonde, the father of the deceased, who resides in Sunset Compound reported the matter to police.

It is reported that Sunday, upon returning home for lunch, inquired about the where about of his daughter.

Her younger sibling revealed that she had consumed a large amount of medication instead of attending her tuition classes.

The father went to the bedroom and discovered his daughter unconscious.

Desperate to save her life, he rushed her to Isoka District Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed that she had been poisoned by an overdose of the Tuberculosis drug.

It was revealed that the medication, normally taken over a span of 28 days, had been consumed by the young girl all at once, leading to her untimely demise.

The exact motive behind Beauty’s decision to consume the medication in such a large quantity remains unknown.

The family has expressed shock and disbelief over the incident, stating that there were no apparent signs of distress or arguments prior to her tragic act.

A tray of Tuberculosis tablets, believed to be the source of the fatal dose, has been recovered and will be crucial in determining the events leading up to Beauty’s death.

Although Beauty was not undergoing treatment for Tuberculosis, the medical professionals at Isoka District Hospital confirmed that the drug she consumed was specifically used to treat the disease.

It is unclear how she obtained the medication and why she chose to take it.

Muchinga police Commanding officer Paul Achiume has confirmed the incident to ISOFM NEWS.
