GOOD NEWS FOR CONTENT CREATORS: MUNDUBILE PRESIDENTIAL TEAM IN TALKS WITH META ON MONETIZATION
Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has revealed that he and his presidential team are currently engaging Meta to facilitate the monetization of content created by Zambian creators.
According to Mundubile, once the engagements are concluded, by September 2026 eligible content creators with 1,000 or more followers will be able to earn money from the content they produce on their social media pages.
The discussions are reported to have reached an advanced stage.
Speaking to Zambian Post, Mundubile said the initiative is one of the many ways his administration intends to support Zambian youth and the creative industry.
He pledged that, if elected President, his government would do everything possible to empower young people and create more economic opportunities for them.
