GIVE PRESIDENT HICHILEMA TIME AND SPACE TO GOVERN

President Hakainde Hichilema was elected by the Zambian people in 2021 for a five year mandate which expires in 2026, when the country goes to the polls again to retain him as Republican President, given his outstanding performance in this short period of 2 years and 8 months in office.
Since assuming office in 2021, the New Dawn Administration under the focused leadership of President Hichilema, has been on a development trajectory that’s unprecedented due to the increased and expanded in scope CDF, which is without any doubt a game changer, as it takes development to the door steps of those who need it most like rural areas particularly Western Province, which is now also receiving a fair share of the national cake.
The President has indeed fulfilled many of his campaign promises among them, the much appreciated free education policy which has resulted in over enrollment of learners, and the subsequent massive recruitment of teachers to reduce the pupil/teacher ratio.
Admittedly, the high cost of living is worrisome as it makes life difficult for citizens, however the good news is that President Hichilema has time without number, assured the nation that his administration has placed the high cost of living as a top priority, and are doing everything possible to bring it down.
It’s for these reasons we appeal to all citizens of this country, particularly the people of Western Province and indeed stakeholders in the political arena, to give President Hakainde Hichilema and his team time and space to govern and fulfil all campaign promises to the Zambian people, without interruption or disturbance of any kind.
