FRA has not paid salaries of its workers.
It is still owed huge amounts to transporters, fumigators and others.
Howver FRA is owed by the following;
- Zambia National Service, Eagle Milling-K35billion.
- Zambia Correctional Service Service, Kalonga Milling- K28billion

Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema has directed the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) to expedite maize purchases from farmers and resolve operational bottlenecks like empty grain bag shortages.
He assured farmers that payments will be processed within two to three days of grain delivery.
He also instructed that FRA should open depots.
