FINDLAY FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER HIS WHEREABOUTS AND HEALTH
The family of businessman Harry Findlay has raised concerns over his safety, health and legal rights after he was allegedly removed from police custody on Sunday evening and taken in an unmarked vehicle to an undisclosed location.
The family says it has not been informed of his whereabouts and that his prescription medication was left behind during the transfer, despite his need for daily medication.
Findlay was arrested on August 4 and, according to his family, has now spent six days in detention without being formally charged or brought before a court.
The family has called on authorities to either bring Findlay before a competent court without further delay or release him, insisting that he should be treated in accordance with the law like every other Zambian.
