🚨 Drug Bust in India: Three Nigerians Arrested as Police Seize $2.5 Million Worth of MDMA
Indian authorities have arrested three Nigerian nationals over alleged drug trafficking following a raid on a house prompted by a tip-off.
Police say they seized 10.27 kilograms of MDMA, an illegal synthetic drug, with an estimated street value of US$2.5 million.
According to investigators, the suspects entered India on medical and tourist visas. Early investigations suggest the drugs were supplied by another Nigerian national believed to be based in Delhi.
The arrests come about two months after four other Nigerians were detained in separate fraud and impersonation cases in India.
The allegations remain under investigation, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
