The official death toll from Russia’s latest large-scale missile and drone attack on the Kyiv region has risen to 22–28 people, following overnight search and rescue operations by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Authorities confirmed 15 fatalities in Kyiv, with the heaviest destruction reported in Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts. An additional 7–8 people were reported killed in the nearby city of Vyshneve, where residential buildings collapsed following the strikes.

The number of injured has climbed to nearly 100, while July 7 is being observed as a Day of Mourning across the Ukrainian capital. Flags remain at half-mast, and public entertainment events have been canceled as rescue and recovery efforts continue.
