DANGEROUS WILD DOGS POUNCE ON DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Five sheep and 3 pigs have been killed by Wild Dogs that have strayed in Chilalantambo Ward of Choma District.
Remmy Munsanje, a Resident of Chilalantambo Ward has told Byta FM Zambia News that the Wild Dogs have been on rampage killing livestock from different households since Wednesday last week.
He says the Wild Dogs become vicious at night as owners of the livestock only find heads as remains of their animals in the morning.
Munsanje adds that three dogs have also been killed.
Meanwhile, Chilalantambo Ward Councilor Herbby Sibajene has called on the Department of National Parks to find any possible means of retrieving the Wild Dogs before they claim lives of people.
He says already farmers have lost their reliabilities which could sustain families.
