Copper Queens’ Evarine Susan Kantongo has expressed appreciation and gratitude to her former Club, ZISD FC management, coaches, and teammates for their unwavering support during her tenure at the Club.
In a heartfelt departure statement, Katongo bid farewell to ZISD, likening her time at the club to a rollercoaster ride, filled with both highs and lows.
She acknowledged the formation of lasting friendships and the creation of cherished memories during her stay.
“As one journey ends, another one begins, Excited to see what the future holds. Thank you to each one of you for the support, love and belief, we keep pushing to do better everyday,” she said.
Katongo wished the team continued success in the ongoing season and beyond, and conveyed optimism for the future.
In a recent announcement, ZISD revealed Katongo’s departure as her contract reached its conclusion during the January transfer window. The destination of her next professional venture is yet to be officially announced as the football community eagerly awaits news of the club she will join.
