CHUSHI KASANDA COMMENDS PRESIDENT’S ANNOUNCEMENT ON RADIO AND TV LICENSES APPROVAL

Hon. Chushi Kasanda, MP. for Chisamba Constituency, has expressed satisfaction and pride following President Hichilema’s address to the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly. She has specifically highlighted the President’s announcement regarding the approval of radio stations and television licenses by the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA), a cause that she had championed.

In her remarks, Hon. Chushi Kasanda stated that she was particularly pleased and proud that the President recognized the efforts that had been made in implementing national values and principles, including the approval of 44 radio stations and 18 television licenses led by the IBA.

Furthermore, Hon. Chushi Kasanda expressed her gratification for playing a key role in spearheading the installation of 15 FM transmitters across various locations in Zambia. These transmitters were successfully installed in Kalomo, Mwandi, Senga Hill, Mporokoso, Chirundu, Lukulu, Nyimba, Samfya, Chiengi, Kaputa, Maamba, Sinazeze, Sinazongwe, Chisekese, and Isoka.

The achievement of these milestones stands as a testament to the strong unity, teamwork, and dedication exhibited during Hon. Chushi Kasanda’s tenure as the Minister of Information and Media. The collective effort of various stakeholders aimed to enhance information dissemination across the nation.
