CHASEFU BACKS UPND AS HICHILEMA PLEDGES MORE DEVELOPMENT
President Hakainde Hichilema has thanked residents of Chasefu District for turning out in large numbers during a campaign meeting, saying their support reflected confidence in the UPND government.
Addressing supporters, President Hichilema said the government remained committed to delivering development across the country and assured the people of Chasefu that more development projects would be implemented.
The Head of State expressed gratitude to the district for its reception and encouraged citizens to remain united as the country pursued its development agenda.
“Chasefu has said ‘mawoko pa ntazi’. Zambia forward!” President Hichilema said.
He urged voters to support the ruling party in the August general election, saying continued backing for the UPND would enable the government to sustain its development programmes.
The President said the administration was focused on improving the lives of citizens and called on Zambians to continue working together to move the country forward.
“Come August, vote for UPND,” President Hichilema said.
