AMOS CHANDA REMAINS SILENT IN DEFENSE

Former presidential spokesperson Amos Chanda has Opted to remain silent in a matter he is charged with two counts of alleged theft and destroying evidence.
When the matter came up before Magistrate Ireen Washimanga for defense, defense Lawyers told court the accused has instructed them that he will exercise his right to remain silent.
Magistrate Washimanga asked the accused to confirm the instructions given to the defense lawyer, his response was in the affirmative.
Mr. Chanda told court he will not bring any witness.
The Matter has been adjourned to May 10th, 2024, for Judgement.
