Muchinga Province police commissioner Lubinda Mayamba says he directed his officer-in-charge in Nakonde to grant Mafinga South member of parliament Faith Munthali (CF), bond even while she is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a public hospital.
The CF has argued that they have been pushing for Munthali to be granted bond for several days before she was even hospitalised, but the police were dilly-dallying despite them having provided sureties.
